====================================
MISSION STATEMENT:
====================================
We have made every effort to test Battleracer with all available resources, but bugs may still occur. The Battleracer Team pledges to release updates quickly and efficiently to fix any issues that appear while Battleracer is supported.

====================================
INSTALLATION:
====================================
Simply run the installer, making sure that you install into your BF2 directory. A desktop shortcut will be created.

====================================
UPGRADE FROM 1.2X:
====================================
You do NOT need to uninstall Battleracer to upgrade. Simply run the installer, making sure that you install into your BF2 directory. Your existing version of Battleracer will be updated.

====================================
GETTING STARTED:
====================================
Start Battleracer using the icon on your desktop. After logging in to BF2, go to the Multiplayer tab to find a server. If your serverlist seems broken, use the game mode dropdown on the top-right corner to select the "All" option. Thanks to the buggy BF2 server browser, you may need to do this more than once.

Once you get in a server and the race starts, spawn as a Driver and head to the start line. Wait for the countdown (which you can see in the ticket counters on the upper right of your screen) to reach GO, and then drive as fast as you can!

While driving, you can honk your horn by pressing Fire (default [Left Mouse]/[Spacebar]), boost by pressing Sprint (default [Left Shift]), shoot the minigun on your car by pressing AlternateFire (default [Right Mouse]). If you flip, you can reset your car by pressing Reset Car in the middle of your command rose (default [Q]).

If you race on a +R (Battleracer Ranked) server, you can view your best times at http://br-central.elxx.net.

====================================
BASIC RULES:
====================================
 * If you switch cars mid-race once (without dying), you will receive a 15-second penalty. Switching a second time will automatically disqualify you from the race.
 * Driving through the checkpoints the wrong way will automatically disqualify you from the race.
 * If you suicide, your spawn timer will be set to 15 seconds. If you are otherwise killed, it will be 3 seconds.
 * Any time you switch cars, the car you were previously in will be destroyed (if there are no other players in it).
 * The false start penalty (going beyond the start line before the race has started) is 10 seconds.
 * Being disqualified from a race on a ranked server will reduce your +R points by 25. If you are found to be purposely obstructing races, you will be added to the Battleracer Global Banlist.
 * If you flip your car, you can press Reset Car on your command rose. After a 1-second delay, this will flip your car upright so you can continue racing. This can be done only once every 10 seconds.
